Christopher Ripley is a Valparaiso native and a lifelong Indiana resident. He is the oldest of five children. After graduating from Valparaiso High School, Chris attended Purdue University where he received his B.S. in Mathematics. He then attended law school at Indiana University in Bloomington where he received his Juris Doctorate. Chris has practiced law since 2013 and has served clients across the State of Indiana from Porter County to Evansville in a variety of legal matters. Chris is licensed to practice law in Indiana and Illinois.
Chris helps his clients to navigate complex estate and family planning issues including: 1) estate planning involving wills, trusts and advance directives; 2) estate administration; 3) guardianships in the event of incapacity and planning in the event of disability; and 4) Medicaid and public benefits. Chris enjoys assisting families with these issues because something good can always be done.
Chris provides public presentations on these and related issues. As the son of a local teacher, Chris knows the importance of education and believes that the public needs and deserves to know more about these complex and often confusing topics. Chris focuses on a team-based approach to planning and enjoys working with families and other planning professionals to pursue the best opportunities for his clients.
Chris is married to his wife Melaina, a local librarian. In their spare time, Chris and Melaina enjoy spending time with family and participating in local events related to history and awareness concerning issues of aging.”
